Work is underway on Colne’s newly formed Heritage Quarter.
The Muni Theatre, Pendle Hippodrome and The Little Theatre will undergo much-needed modernisation over the coming months.
Once completed, these new and upgraded cultural facilities within the heart of Colne will offer an enhanced programme of events and activities for the local community and visitors to enjoy.
The Muni Theatre
£1,563,300 has been allocated for a major refurbishment of the theatre, including new roofing and windows, along with new heating and lighting.

Pendle Hippodrome
£1,661,100, will enable alterations to the former Derby Arms public house, including lifts and the redevelopment of the existing foyer, box office and toilet areas.

The Little Theatre
£262,500 will pay for a single storey extension to include wheelchair access and facilities, along with a modern foyer, additional toilets, a green room and kitchen/bar.
