Pendle Hippodrome is owned by the Pendle Hippodrome Theatre Company, operating as Pendle Hippodrome Theatre Limited.
The building originally opened in 1914 as a cinema and variety theatre.
The theatre company had already purchased the pub next door to the theatre with the long term aim of knocking through and creating a new box office with disabled facilities and access.
The Muni Theatre
£1,563,300 has been allocated for a major refurbishment of the theatre, including new roofing and windows, along with new heating and lighting.
